How long hve they been there and what do you have in your tank that might be able to lay them if infact they are eggs

We had something similar on a shipment of lr once, I thought it was some type of plant life...might be wrong, though.

Those look like the eggs of a Murex Snail but they could be the eggs of several other types of Snails.
