I don't know about you guys but it seems my cat loves to sit back and watch my fish. He paws at the glass when they swim by and is constantly following thier every move. Usually, when I see this I shoo him off because I don't want him to spook the fish.
What about you guys.. do your cats show any special interest in your fish?

Yep, catch my two following their every movement..kinda reassures me when I can't be monitoring the tank to see the cats' heads going back & forth :)

My cat does not care about the fish much. She just likes to sleep on top of the canopy where it is nice and warm.

Well, I think my two long-hair dachshunds have an identity crisis....especially Widget, my little male. He will sit and stare at the fish, moving his head to keep up with them. He gets shooed away for jumping up on the stand at the fish. It scares them and gets wet nose prints on the glass! That Widget....he's such a little freak. <img src="graemlins//freak.gif" border="0" alt="[freak]" />

My cat is transfixed by the tank, she sits on the back of the recliner at the left end of the tank for hours. She used to bat at the fish but has stopped that and now just stares. I will get a pic of her 'watching' soon!

Karla - smoke is so pretty.
Ijji - I really liked your pic.
I do not have any cats, not because I do not like them, I would love to have a cat. My 2 Sib. Huskys and husband do not care for cats. Husband also has asthma, cats are the only thing that seems to bother them.
