she's afraid of just about anything if you're holding it in your hands. She's scared to death of cameras too. Actually if you hold anything like a camera, she runs away with her tail between her legs. I had silly putty, and held it like a camera, and she was out of sight in a heartbeat... it's kinda sad, but so funny at the same time. I love my puppy!!!

what breed is your doggie?
one of my cats was horribly afraid of hair brushes and I really think that it was because he was abused by his previous owner. She was this really shady lady that I used to work with and of course was too dumb to spay/neuter her cats so they kept getting pregant and when I adopted Maxx he was like 8 months old and hadn't had any shots or any vet care at all. He was also COVERED in fleas and when I asked her about this she said she didn't know... now come on this lady had like 7 cats and if one had fleas they all have fleas and you would know it because they would be biting you too! I felt so bad because of the first 2 days I had him I must have given him 5 baths. But he forgave me
and he could care less about hair brushes now, just don't get near him with the vaccum!

does anyone have kitties that "nest" meaning sleep in your legs at night like a little nesting birdy? My male cat does this and Sockie does it too but I am not sure if it just a Maxx thing and Sockie saw him do it and decided it would be nice. Let me tell you it is always fun when they both try and nest in your legs! Luckly most of the time my boyfriend it there so there is another pair of legs for a nest!

she's a golden retriever.
that's so sad!
My cousins have a yorkie who is so weird about cards. If you shuffle cards near him, he'll start jumping around, barking, and attacking the cards. It's so funny!!!

wow critters are so goofy!
My mom's cat get afraid so random stuff... like one day he was afriad of the corner of the sofa, just the corner nothing else. So days he will be afriad of a shoe, so or course I like to make a noise when I notice he is afraid of something and make him leap into the air!

oh yes. the nesting. And then how about the times the kitten gets under the blanket and curls up behind your back to stay warm? It's REALLY cute....until she starts having a "chasing" dream and fully extends her claws so she can bunny-kick the flesh off your back.

my golden (fyi, when i say my dog, it's really my family's dog, but since i don't live with my family anymore, she's at my parent's house... anyway), would crawl in bed with my mom and dad, lay down in between them, and push her paws against my dad, and her back agains my mom, and stretch out, causing both of my parents to just about fall out of bed... LMAO! she's so funny!!!
and as for the scaring the cat thing, my sister has a cat - furball - and when we first got her, she had this toy with a small jingle bell on it. I was playing with her and the bell fell off. So i was fixing it, and she was sitting, ready to pounce, about 3" away from my face. So i look over at her, slammed my hands on the floor and yelled. OMG she jumped about a foot into the air, and backwards at the same time. You know in those old cartoons where the cat arches it's back and meows really loudly? She did exactly that! It was soooo funny... but now she's afraid of everyone except for my sister... that's a result that incident, and me chasing her around my room with a dust buster...
i want a kitty so bad, but the stupid boy is allergic...
