Classic Mis-direction....Poorly performed at that. If yoru going to do ANY slight of hand or misdirection on camera than please at least practice first.
knife is placed in cup, but bottom of lazy susan has brail symbols the performer has mapped for himself to mark sharp and safe positions on the board.
Knife as shown that is sticking through hand is just a false tip that has been reverse palmed.
Hidden from view the entire performance as it is temp glued to the BACK of his right hand.

I just watched it again after reading this. At the beginning, right after he is flipping the knife in his hand, you can see the fake one on the back of his right hand. It is real quick though.

i looked and looked and couldnt see it... at 13 seconds the back of his right hand is in plain sight and its not there then... BUT i would suspect the the fake blade was stuck onto him at 24 -25 - 26 seconds when his right hand goes out of view when he walks towards the camera... you cant get a good view of the back of his right hand until the cup is smashed...

You CAN see the top of his right hand AND the false knife at the very beginning. Its in the begining about three seconds in where he makes his mistake.
You need to know what to look for but now that it is mentioned your eyes will key to it.
