I recently bought a kole tang (week old) with many new corals and shrimp. i cant tell if my tang has any white dots on him.. I Want to make sure shes gonna be okay and if anyone has any thoughts please post

Yeah everything seem to be fine.. but if something wrong i want to catch it in its early stage.. I know tangs get Head and lateral line
disease but its not that. it doesn really look like ick but idk.. there like really faded white circles and i swear there there sometimes and others not.. then i start looking at it for to long and go crazy b.c i dont Know if its there or not!

Haha, I know the feeling!
Many tangs can slightly change color and get white spots in certain lighting or when stressed. My Blonde Naso scared me half to death the first night I put her in the tank with the way she could change coloring. She still does it when the lighting changes.
I would just keep observing. It could be just stress/new environment, ich, change in lighting, etc.
If you can, which will probably be close to impossible, take some pictures.

This is just my opinion, and I know that Beth could much better help than I can, but to me it looks like an early start of HLLE.
I'm really not sure though, and I will be following this thread to see what others think so I can learn something...
I know the feeling of when you look at your fish too closely to see if there is anything wrong with them, LOL, it drives me crazy too!

Hard to tell anything from the pictures. New fish will have scraps and are experiencing stress which will cause faded colors, etc. If this fish is in a quarantine, your best bet is to see him through that process for the next 3 weeks, keeping a close eye out for any developing diseases.

I am going out on a limb here and saying that is not a quarantine tank. I will also say that I think your tang is fine.

Just to add my two cents, I would set up a QT, since you have a few fish in your DT. I know you would rather treat one fish then scrambling to set up QT's for all your fish. Adding new fish to your DT is like playing Russian Roulette. All you need is one ick, to start a major out break and it doesn't even need to be on the fish.

The Kole looks fine. I just had one die but because it was skinny leading me to believe he had an internal parasite when I bought it. This was my mistake for not checking more closely. I would not worry much about a Kole tang they are hardy fish. Your looks nice and healthy, not skinny like the one I had.

I don't have a quarantine tank, so I'm hoping its not ick ( but everyone hopes that).. I've only dealt with ick in my freshwater tank years ago never in SW. but I had a serve case of HLLE on my yellow tang months ago. so i looked earlyer today at my tang no spots at all..( there not even spots like big globs) but i just fed them a hour ago( fresh raw shrimp and scalups from night before) and there are Huge globs of llike cloudy less colored area on his body.. best i can explain it ( this sucks idk what to do.. its there sometimes and others not.. helppp
