i got a kole tang 3 days ago and it just started to get ick i took him out are all my fish going to get it the lfs keep him for 4 weeks on hold for me he was fine
kole tang with ick what about other fish

what should i do with him i have a cleaner shrimp i have him in a beer pitcher i dont have qt tank

You need to set up a QT tank. See the thread at the top of this section for directions on treating ich.

Ich is a parasite. Once it is in your tank then you need to remove and QT all fish for 4-6 weeks. (The disease thread more fully explains this). With the fish removed, the parasite cannot host on anything and dies out.

I completely agree. You have to get the parasite out of your tank. You can remove your rock and inverts if you do not have true live sand (came wet in a bag and full of life) or you can set up a qt to treat.
