kool aid hair die

Who all uses kool aid to die their hair? i just died my whole head blue with kool aid, i hope it turns out with a nice blue tint, i tested it last night with just a strand, and i liked the color, and i hope the rest of my head turns out like the strand,
anyone who does use kool-aid, did you bleach your hair first? my hair is light brown, and i didnt want to permenemtly bleach my hair.

When I was younger I tried but my hair was too dark. I also used to bleach my hair white and the kool aid would work then. Lasts a couple days.

ouch, i did that one st.paddy's day in high school to go green. it hardened(sp?) up so bad it felt like knives poking my head when i tried to wash it out. it took about a week before it softened up and then it was ok. i had brown hair, but my gf w/blond hair took about 5 months to rectify. we tried to use regular dye to get it back to normal, but yellow and green make greenish yellow! :scared:
i wouldn't recommend koolaid to anyone, spend a bit more and get a wash in regular dye.

i just used the regular everyday koolaid packets. the kind you have to add sugar to. stuff never came out completely and i had green hair for a month or so. :thinking:
