Koralia 1 died after only 5-6 months of use

So I woke up this morning to find my koralia 1 wasn't working. I tried unplugging it and plugging it into a different socket didn't work. Unfortunately, i have to go to work so i can't mess with it rightn ow but when i get back i'll have to take it out of the tank and try cleaning it maybe and see if that helps. Is this a common occurance with these powerheads? I'm not going to be too happy with having to buy a new one knowning they are junk. Also, will my tank be ok without it running for few days? Thanks guys

I have 7, and I have only had issue with one.....It is also only a few months old, and when I took it apart it started working again

may have gotten some sand in it. Just take it apart and clean the impeller.

+1 on cleaning it mine did the same thing I soaked it in Vigear cleaned with water and it was back
