Koralia 3's

Does anyone think that 2 koralia 3s... one at each end of my 55 gal 48 long tank would be overkill? I want good water cirulation but I dont want overkill!

not at all. depends on what ur keeping. i hv 2#3 in my 48 long 72.

I have one #4 in my 55 on the side pointed at the center of the front glass and I don't believe it is too much flow and I seem to be getting pretty good wave action in the center of my tank but the ends are more laminar. I think I can solve this by adding another koralia to the other end but I am thinking another #4 would be too much unless I had them hooked up to a wavemaker. Two #3's would probably be Ideal.

I have two Koralia 3s and a MaxiJet 1200 Mod in my 75G (3,300 GPH) which is 18" front-to-back vs 12" for a 55G. I originally had only the two Koralia 3s but had many dead spots.
However, I do love the Koralias and Hydor has excellent customer service.

Great.. then I am going with 2 3's !
I think I will get an extra to go in my mixing bucket as well
