I just got a Koralia 1 and it makes a good bit of noise, is this normal? I had a cheap powerhead that I got at ***** and it was silent but this Koralia makes a decent amount of vibration noise is this normal or did I get a bum powerhead?

So in a quiet room you can't hear a humming at all? Hmmm maybe it'll go away after it's broken in...

I messed with the prop a little but it doesn't seem to make a difference... while running I unscrewed the top and the prop came out a little and it was silent so I'm guessing it's not the motor itself that is making the noise but the prop vibration.. but there doesn't seem to be any way I can adjust it.

They have a reputation for making noise initially, then quieting down after a few days or so.

Or you just get used to it, huh? lol
It's been in for four days now and it's still kind of noisy, but not unbearable... I guess I'll just have to be patient and wait for it to either quiet down on it's own or for me to get used to it to where I don't notice it.

I dont know, id be concerned about the noise. Mine are silent and hardly made any noise from the begining. Sounds like yours is making excessive noise??? I would call were you got it and inquire about mabye exchanging it just in case.
