I am upgrading my 29-gallon reef to a 65-gallon. I would like to try the Koralia 2 600 gph circluation pumps and was just wondering how many I would need and where I should place them to get the maximum flow? Thanks for your help!
Most I have seen have been in the back corners pointed to the front middle. I would think that 2 of those would be enough. That is like 15-20X flow. What are you keeping? Do you have a sump?
Thanks! I will have a 20 gallon sump and will be keeping mostly mushrooms, zoas, frogspawn, a hammer coral, and a toadstool. I thought 2 would be enough but just wanted to make sure.
