Koralia

I know a lot of you use the Hydor Koralia pumps for good circulation. I just installed a Koralia 2 to replace my Koralia 1. My question is, how many of you use the flow concentrator nozzle that comes with the pump. It seems to move more water without it, but I don't know which would be best. Any thoughts?

I have 2 koralia 2's in my 46 and run both without. They seem to move more water in different directions without them.

I've got both a 3 and a 4 in my 70. When I initially put them in the tank I had the flow concentrator nozzles on. I had a lot of problems with sand movement. It seemed that no matter where I pointed them I had movement of sand over time. I removed the nozzles and now I have a much more gentle movement of water throughout the entire tank. If you are looking for an overall flow throughout your tank I would leave them off.

Thanks
I had a feeling that leaving them off would be the best bet, so I shall now remove the one I put on. I want good, even flow, but not a blast. I think they are excellent pumps.

i dont use the nozzles either in my 3 koralias. never had a problem with any inverts walking in since the flow is too strong. i hv seen my algae blenny tried to get in, but got blown away by the strong flow.
