Koran Angel and Yellow Tang best of friends!?

Just like the title says, I have a Koran Angel and a Yellow Tang (temporary, green hair algae problem and the Tang is mowing it down too). But anyways, At first when I added the Tang (its name is bubbles), my Koran Angel (its name is Robin) was giving Bubbles hell, tearing Bubbles's fins a bit, but, the next day the table turned a bit. And not soon after that, they went back and forth between fighting. NOW you never see them apart, its almost like they have paired up, its very odd I think, and so far, I haven't seen anyone else on this forum having the same thing happen. Its a 55 gallon (both fish will have to go eventually because of my tank size (hopefully I will have a 125 before that happens)) and the only other fish is pair of clowns. Its a strange behavior between the 2 fish, but, I am really glad they aren't killing each other!

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but.... Have you ever heard of the phrase, "Keep your friends clos and your enemies closer" This is most likely what is going on. This is exactly what my sailfin and naso tang do.

So what your saying, is that they may not be best of friends :( that makes me sad lol. It makes sense though.

I will keep an eye on them, the tang is doing great though, got her last week, and the koran, well, she has been in the tank since the beginning almost.

The tang is just temporary, very temporary, when the green hair algae is gone, the tang will be given a new home.

I know, I mentioned above that they were both gonna need a new home (thats why I am trying to get a 125 in the future). The koran is rather small, still about 3 inches long.

my kornan angel and sailfin tang do the same exact thing but they never fought first. as soon as the angel went into the tank, the sailfing immediately stayed with him

I guarantee you if you were to post a video some of us would be able to point out aggression.
Again, "keep your friends close but your enemies closer," does not solely refer to humans, lol
