I have one and is a awsome angel IMO. To get them eat you can use frozen brine. They are pretty easy to keep but , will get big. Their juvi colors start to fade at 4 inches. They will probably pick at some corals when they get older but at juvi stage the shouldn't. If you have any questions just ask. Hope this helps.

Nope in my experience the juvi still pick on coral, mostly my clams and brains. Beautiful fish and very friendly, meets me every day after work for his four pellets. They do grow quick. I special ordered mine as small as possible came in the size a little bit bigger then a quarter now is bigger then a half dollar. Had to go and get a 20 gal high for him to live in still he get a little bigger before he can go in my fowler tank.

a 55 is too small for a full-size angel. a dwarf would be a better choice.
mrme, do you have a koran and a regal tang in a 55? if so, i suggest you take them both back to the fish store.

I purchased a Koran and I love it. It is so friendly. If I have cubed food I will hold it at the top of the water and the angel will eat right out of my hand. They get to be about 13in long and start to change color at about 4-5in long. My LFS told me not to put one in a tank any smaller than a 75gal. My Koran eats anything!!!!!! Formula One Frozen food for angels and flake and pellet and frozen mysis.
