Korean Anglefish

Does anyone know about these? I saw one at the store today and it looked really cool! The guy said that it would be ok for a reef tank. I have a big 55 gallon tank. Is that enough space for him to live with corals? How much light does this fish need?

It is actually a Koran angel - no, your 55 isn't even close enough for this guy - You need at least twice as big.

I have a Koran Angel, Yellow tang, and Harlequin Tuskfish. These are all the fish I have in my tank, and they seem cramped. I will not put anymore in with them.

I agree with the others. A 55 isnt really a big tank. For a fish like that you should have atleast a 90 gallon, and even that is kind of small. Large angels are like tangs. They need plenty of room to swim, and properly grow. If you put them in a smaller system they may seem to be fine, but there growth and health could be an issue down the road. Either way it is a great looking fish. I am glad that you are responsible enough to ask. good luck ricky

Thanks. I have decided to wait the week or two for my tank to settle before adding any more fish or corals.
