large angel minimum

The annularis gets way too big for a 55. The Bluespotted and the ones list by Jamie are the only ones that I would put in a 55.

minimum tank size for an anularis is 100 and they get to be a foot long .. I'm glad you're researching these things before you buy them some people on this site just buy fish that they think look cool without even thinking twice

Yeah, I was looking at that site and noticed those tank sizes. Amazing. They were so far off I had to read it ahain to make sure I was understanding them correctly. they did indeed state that a 55 was good for an Imperator. In fact, they list 55 as minimum for every angel. French Angel in a 55

Beside the cramped conditions, that an Imperator would be strong enough to break the glass if he felt like it.

Those tank sizes listed on that website are for the smallest size of that fish.
