Larger reef safe fish for a 75G

I am in the planning stage of my new 75g reef while I wait to move and I am trying to figure out what some of the most compatible fish would be for a 75g reef. Right now all I have is a Maroon Clown and a Shrimp Goby going through hypo and I am thinking about adding a pair of Firefish once hypo is done but that is still up in the air.
Anyways I am looking for a very peaceful, colorful, social, reef/invert safe fish that isn't as small as what I have now. Whether it be a Tang, Angel, Butterfly, Trigger, or something else cool I don't care. As long as it isn't a picky eater or pain to keep alive and will work happily in a 75g.
I am not talking about a massive 12" fish or anything just something that has more of the round/oval shape that the tangs, butterflies, angels, etc. have. Basically I don't want anymore long-skinny fish.
Any opinions?

Most triggers arent considered reef safe as they will eat your inverts and many grow way too big for a 75. Tangs will also outgrow a 75 very quickly although many people say that of all the tangs, a Kole tang would work in a 75. Personally, I wont do it since before I really knew what I was doing I had a Yellow and a Hippo Tang in my 75 and I quickly saw how fast they grew and how stressed they got in a tank that small.
Dwarf Angels such as the Coral Beauty and Flame Angel are both good choices for a 75. I have heard some people say that they may pick at soft corals but generally they are both considered reef safe. Another great fish for a reef is a Lawnmower Blenny. They are not the most colorful fish out there but they more than make up for that in personality and the fact that they will eat nuisance algae, so they are a very beneficial fish to have in your tank in addition to being fun to watch. The firefish that you are thinking about are great additions too, just be careful with them because they are known to be jumpers. You'll want to keep your tank covered with eggcrate.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help. I didn't think flames were considered reef safe? I know my dad had a Coral Beauty and that was one I really didn't care for to much. If I knew I had a really good chance at a Flame Angel being reef safe I definately wouldn't mind one.
I really don't like Lawnmower Blennies, my dad has one and I hear about it all the time and it just doesn't do anything for me. I really haven't had any algae problems in the past couple months either so I feel that he would just starve.
I am just trying to find a fish that will be like 4-6" long and almost as tall as it is long. I really like the Kole Tangs but I just don't want to have to deal with all the problems that come with Tangs and have it end up dead.

i have 2 tangs in my tank...mysailfin tang is my oldest fish in my 75 gallon and he gets no diffrent food then the other fish..although i do have a auto feeder of flake food that has alot of difrent greens in it for tangs...but the other fish love it to, and i feed brine, mysis or cyclops at night when the lights are about to go out...tangs arnt hard at all..i have a blue hippo in there with my sailfin also hes doing great..although when i bought that hippo it looked like he had ICK!!! i took him to a friend house and he dipped him in some reddish orange crap that they dont make anymore but you could see the white spots turn brown and pull out of the tang...when he was done with him he looked like a teenager that just got done popping his pemples!
but i added him in when i brought him home and he healed up and never seen any ick after that!

I know they are one of the smaller tangs out there.

A kole tang is the only tang I would remotely consider for a 75g tank, and it is basically the minimum tank size for it. I would strongly discourage any other types of tangs.

This is always where any thread about tangs ends up

Thank you, So would you suggest it or no? I am more concerned about the health/happiness of the fish.
Anybody have any other suggestions on what a larger fish would be for the tank.
So far my idea for a stock list is this:
1 Shrimp goby
1 Maroon Clown
2 Firefish
2 Bangaii Cardinals
3-6 Chromis (Maybe)

Update on my stocklist:
What I have in my 29gallon now:
1 - Premnas Biaculeatus (Maroon Clownfish)
1 - Amblyeleotris Macronema (Shrimp Goby w/o common name)
1 - Percnon gibbesi (Sally Lightfoot Crab)
Hermits, Snails, Conch
What I am looking at for the 75gallon:
1 - Pseudoanthias Pleurotaenia (MALE Pink Square Anthia)
1 - Assessor Macneilli (MacNeill's Basslet)
6 - Chromis Cyaneus (Blue Reef Chromis)
1 - Porcellana sayana (Porcelain Crab)
Maybe additions (depending on compatibility and bioload):
1 - Paragobius Lacunicolus (Panda Goby) - with the addition of a symbiotic pocillopora
1 - Pseudanthias bimaculatus (Bimaculatus Anthia) - or another one that will get along
1 - Lysmata amboinensis (Skunk Cleaner Shrimp)
1 - Lysmata debelius (Fire Shrimp)
2 - Lysmata wurdemanni (Peppermint Shrimp)
Anybody find any problems comments/suggestions in this stock list for a reef tank?

I would not get a Flame Angel. I had one in my reef tank and he was a nightmare. Started eating my corals and was a pain to try to get out of the tank.
The Foxface is a great fish and completely reef safe. The wrasses are good too.

I ditched that idea. I want fish that are going to be extremely peaceful and that I do not have to monitor with my corals or inverts. I am just wondering what anybody thinks about the list I just put together.

Your list looks ok to me. Personally I would look for a centerpiece fish, one that really stands out. I don't think any of the ones on your list fit that. The maroon clownfish is not a free swimmer. It'll most likely find a home in an anemone or a coral and will not venture too far from that spot.
Here's what I have in my reef tank now:
1 Foxface
2 Gold Stripe Maroons (paired)
1 Yellow Wrasse
1 Flame Wrasse
The Foxface is a free swimmer. Everyone who comes over loves to look at it and it likes to swim up front. This one is the centerpiece of my tank.
The 2 clowns have their anemone on the right side of the tank and they pretty much stay in that general area.
The yellow and flame wrasse swim all around the rocks, in between, they're pretty cool to look at and are fairly big.
I also had a flame angel and it got traded to the LFS. Also had a bi-color blenny which I ended up giving to my friend because it was constantly attacking the foxface and eating my brain coral.

What is the tank size for a full grown Rabbitfish though? I know they can get up to 10-12" which IMO would be too big for a 75g tank. I really don't want anything that is going to take up 1/6 - 1/4 of the length of the tank.

The one spot Foxface grows to a max of 7" and the recommended tank size is 70gal. According to fish info on another site. If that's too big, I would go with some of the beautiful and reef safe wrasses out there.

That should be fine, I guess I always just picture an oversized fish running into my corals and swimming a short distance and trying to figure out how to turn around.

It says Banana Wrasses grow to a foot in length and are highly aggressive. Reef Compatibility: No.
They look pretty good but I want a peaceful, reef tank. That thing grows bigger than a foxface as well.
