Well after 2 yrs my Lionfish mysterously up and died. He's been gone 1 month and no one else in the tank shows any ill effect. I've also tested the water and all is well.
I'm just about ready to convert my 75 QT tank into a Dragon Moray Eel species tank. And before I do it I want to complete my tank with all I want to put in it.
So here goes..240g tank , 300lbs LR
Queen Angel
Blond Naso Tang
Yellow Tang
Aust Tusk
Red Coris Wrasse
Maroon Clown
SFE
Brazilian Golden Moray (Banana)
CC Star
What would the last fish be...another lion, Sohal, ??
Ideas welcomed.

IMO i would say lion because tnags can tend to be agressive towards one another.
Here is a nother suggestion though how bout a seagoblin?

Anybody think a school of Damsels / Chromis is out of the question with the Tusk?
Might give this a try. would add lots of blue and activity without overcrowding the tank with big bio-load.

I think a small school of Blue or Green Chromis would look great Harley....Are you worried about the Tusk being aggressive toward them? My Tusk is new but thus far he is the most passive fish in my tank by far.

I have to disagree, I would not recommend a lion or a seagoblin with your current stocklist. I'd say a nice trigger, maybe a blue throat, hawaiian, pinktail, or maybe even a crosshatch if you can afford one. I was going to get a sohal too but I've heard to many people say that they are extremely aggressive, but any other tang should be o.k.

Not sure if you read or not, but I HAD a lion wiith this group for over a year with great success.
No Triggers as you never know if they will snap and I basically don't trust them not to kill my eels.
Thanks though, but I think a school of small stuff all over will go well with all the large fish I had and complement them well.
Done deal, random damsels and Chromis it is. Now to just decide how many in an 8' tank!
