I was watching my tank and all of a sudden, there was this burst of what I thought were bubbles that shot out of my Eheim Wet Dry discharge.... but, it was not bubbles, those things started swimming like crazy.... the fish went wild eating them up as fast as they could... does anyone have an idea of what they might have been... They sort of reminded me of what a spider egg sack looks like when it pops... little spiders all over the place, only these were so small I could not tell what they were at all...
I am hoping someone has an idea of what type of egg cluster would grow and hatch inside a wet dry filter like that...
Thanks, Dave

i would assume they are pods that built up in your filter.
over time your filter gains more and more crud, preasure on the sponge built up and when it was enough it sucked all of em through.
