Lateral Line* Hole In The Head* Kole Tang?

I just got a Kole Tang and I noticed that he has raised bumps along his lateral line. Now this morning he has a slight hole on his head. He is in my reef tank I really don't want to quarantee him. Could it be that he had the problem when I got him. He looked o'k in the store. He doesn't especially want to eat. He seems to be hiding alot in the rocks. I really don't want to remove him from my reef tank with 55 lbs of rock. He is a nice Kole Tang. I have been feeding him brime shrimp that I soked in Zoe. I also have been using Garlix X in my frozen food, along with green seaweed. Any suggestions would help:

Do you have a sump with substrate or a refugium? If so...you might want to add some Ecosytem Miracle Mud to it. I don't know why it works, I don't know how it works. But I do know that it works.
Here's a photo of a purple tang we were given by an LFS because they figured he'd be dead in about a week, he had a terrible case of HLLE. The other photo is him 6 weeks later. No treatment at all except that he's in a tank with an Ecosystem, using the Miracle Mud which claims to heal HLLE. I'm a believer.
