Asbolutely stunning. Great work!! There are very few tanks that I see where I say, "Yep, that's what I'm working towards." Yours is one of those tanks.

Very nice tank. What T5 fixture did you have and why are you changing to MH? Everything looks healthy.
Thanks.
Right now I have a Current 48" SunDial 4X54W T5HO fixture. I want to be able to keep more SPS anywhere in the tank. Currently, I keep everything up high (some more than others). I had one acro down low and it started to brown out a little, then recovered when I moved it higher. Like to see more growth too. I also want to keep different clams (just a Maxima right now).
I tested my new lights (Outer Orbit 2X250W with Phoenix 14K bulbs) and they're amazing. Aside from the extra lighting benefits, the shimmer effect on my tank is beyond words. My wife's not a big fan of the tank (jealous about the attention I give it, I guess
), but even she was impressed with the difference.

Cool, I am always curious about why people switch from one lighting source to another. Like you said, with the new lights you won't be limited by where you can place anything. Can't wait to see it with the new lights.

Can u post a link to your new lights?
Per Forum rules, I can't post a link (especially since SWF is selling lights now), but just do a search on "Current USA Outer Orbit 2X250W".
I got my refurbished fixture for less than 1/2 price of a new unit from the vendor themselves on a major auction site. Looks brand new and came with new bulbs (although I switched out the 10K MH bulbs with Phoenix 14K bulbs) and a limited warranty.
