What a god-send he has been! I was having an overwhelming algae problem - put him in there and in 4 days my tank is sparkling!! I was getting so worried that I was doing something wrong but now the problem seems to be averted!!

Ok quick question, I have one and have had him for about 3 days. He is really shy. Was yours shy? He works and I expect him to get over it, but when will I see a huge change? Was yours the same?

Mine was shy at first, but now he "people watches."
i.e. whenever anyone looks at the tank, he swims right up to the person's face and stares at them. Kind of funny!
He also does this to the cats, but I think he just likes to terrorize the cats.

Now, he only eats the prepared foods that are for the other fish.

O well, what can you do....

My lmb eats hair algea like no other. Matter in fact that is what he is doing when I cannot find him. He is on the back glass eating away. Wow he has cleaned up a ton of algea. I am still going to up grade my clean up crew but He does do a great job with the hair algea. Man am I glad I bought him.
