my lmb was the same way for about 1 month when i first got it..it was really skinny for a while and i never seen him munching on anything or moving around much at all..Now he is really really fat!!! he is allover everything in the tank grazing about even eating pellets and flake food..Guess it just took him a while to get adjusted to his new surroundings.

I have a lawnmower blenny I got about 2 weeks ago and he is going through the same thing. He comes out, but I never see him eat because the moment he sees me, he dives into his hiding spot. Everyone I talk to seems to think he'll come around.

My LMB was very bold, never hid when we came to watch, and would always swim up and down anticipating food. That was until I re-arranged the tank and took all the fish out of the tank. Now he hides most of the time with his head peeping out of holes and caves. When he eats, he darts for the food, then darts back. But, of course, he doesn't do that with my wife and kid. He doesn't like me very much, but he'll get over it. Yours will eventually come around. Just don't do what i did or they'll hate you for life.

I have a 125 that is about a month past cycle and I picked up a bunch of hair algae during the process. I only have put 5 Chromis and 1 Lawn Mower Blennie in the tank. They have been doing great and all is well. The LMB has been a real treat to watch and there is engough live rock to go around. I have 100 lbs of Marshall island with tons of hiding places.
My question is, I read that with a large enough tank, I might be able to have two of them so I got another one. The first one is really aggressive toward the new one [to be expected]. The new one is doing well and is eating, but getting chased by the old one. They are the same size. Will this ever stop? There is no way I can think of to catch the first one to pull him out. Just curious what you think I should do.
