Need more info.
How old is the tank? What is your tanks temp? What kind of fish do you have? What are your water parameters? Have you added anything new to your tank lately?
Could be a lack of oxygen. Do you have any powerheads in the tank for circulation? Most all fish like brisk water movement.

When I started I had salt at 1.23 LFS told me to drop it two around 1.18 to 1.20 to prevent disease
Is that not true??
I have been tryin to get temp back up thermo is not working right need to get new one today

The only acceptable level to prevent disease in fish is 1.009 in a hospital tank only.

Maybe your cycle is not quite done yet.
ammonia should be 0
temp should be closer to 80
nitrites should be 0, what are yours?
Have you done a water change yet?

i did a 10 % change about 1 week ago.
from what i understand i also made a big mistake by cleaning the filter pads in the sink. I did this last sunday.
I will bring up salt level and see what happens as well as temps

Yup, get your heater sorted before it goes wrong big style.
Also - clean filter pads in tank water (think you know that now though?)

I KNOW IT ALRIGHT!!!
i have 1 300 watt heater that will not reach temp i set it
i am going today to get 2 150 watts to put on either side of tank
what do you think?

Two smaller heaters are always better than one big one. This way if something goes awry with one you still have the other one and won't fry/freeze your fish.

Add a couple powerheads so that you have more water movement and this might change some habits of your fish. Powerheads basically suck the water up and spit it out to create movement. They are made to be used with ugf but most in the reef hobby use them just to circulate water. Now these powerheads have differet ratings on the gph (gallons per hour) they circulate. I have heard that you need to beable to circulate so much water an hour through the powerheads but that is just as disputed as everything is in this hobby.
