Lead sinker in tank

I am trying to catch my blue tang with an acrylic trap I bought. I glued a lead fishing sinker to the door, so that it will close faster. It looks like the trap will have to be in there over night so that they can get comfortable with it. Do you think this will be a problem?

It is metal, so it could pose a problem. I dont know if having it in there overnight would cause a problem. Then again, what makes you think you will catch him in one night?

I know it works. That is not the question. I was wondering about having the lead sinker in the tank for a couple days.
