Ok; here's the question. I just filled my new (used) 125 about an hour ago. So far there is no leaks that have appeared. When or how long do I wait before I can assume it is leak free?

run it wet for 24 hours. Best bet there, you must be certain. Tell me you didnt use saltwater to fill and test it? I just set up my newest tank (55) and I am about to run my water test tonite or tomorrow to gear up for the last install this weekend.
Never just hook it up and go.... you must plan and use serious sense in this hobby.
Just my opinion.... good luck!

LOL...NOOOO! It's set up on my deck with just plain water..so far everything looks great! BTW just got back from buying a 30 gal to make a sump. I've been doing this for a some years. I just never really got into "used" tanks is all. I was looking for a tank to use as a sump for my current 55 when I ran into this deal on a 125 so...need I say more! Thanks for your concern!

Give it a good 24 to settle, bow, flex, seep, leak or let go (if it's gonna) while it's outside on the deck...rather than in the living room....
