Leather attack?

I just recently got a large devil's hand and I noticed today that everything in the 1/3 of the tank with it is pouting (GSP, Xenia, candycane, and torch). I am running AC in the sump and did a water change on Sunday. Does the leather put out some chemical warfare and if so, how can I help the softies/LPS around it?
Will a coral's chemical damage an anemone? Tiny RBTA?

I have had a toadstool leather for quite awhile and haven't ever noticed anything like what you mention-they all seem to get along just fine-torch, hammer, GSP, galaxea, trumpet, bubble, shrooms, brains, rics, etc. Don't know if the devils hand is different than the toadstoll though?
I do know that my toadstool is more sensitive to salinity than some of my other corals though-have you checked yours after the change?
