i just bought a leather tonight and i was wonder what it needs to be fed and should it be closer or farther away from the light? any comments apprieciated

hi...well i dont have alot of experience with leathers...but the main thing is to place them in a medium current spot with good lighting coz it uses light as a source of food,like corals and anemones....this is what i have done with my leather and now its dooing really well.
Ps:i have been on this BB for a year now and u are the first one to help! :D

I feed mine minced up mixed oysters, shripms etc, which I hen freeze. Sueeze the juice from a small chunk of the frozen food over the open polyps. Mine is the size of a dinner plate. Hope this helps you out.

Hey,
Besides water supplements like calcium and iodine, the only thing my finger leather gets is DT's phytoplankton and it's doing wonderfull.
