Can leather corals be freshwater dipped?

im going to say no on a FW for a coral..they are so sensative to changes in salinity it may be to much of a shock for them...even tough some of them can hold their own water for a short time

I do zoos all the time, but not sure about leathers. Why are you dipping it.
