leather looks sick

my leather coral looks sick. it is displaying a kinda yellow/green color and does not open up like the other leather. both were purchased at the same time and sit at the same height in the tank...about 6" from the water level and less than `10" from the lights. what could be causing this and should i lower it in the tank to see if this will help?

Leather corals go through a Slough Period, where they get droopy, filmy, their polyps wont come out for a day or so.. maybe more. You need to fan the crap that accumulates on top of it off. It should be fine though
