Looks fine. I got one. I had it for a few weeks. It just now started acting right. It took a while for me to find the right spot. They need medium flow and medium light.
As far as flow and light, it should be ok....what do you mean acting right? What do they do? It has opened up more than shown, and also curled up more too.
make sure that the skin that is forming over it breaks open I have read on a thread somewhere on here that it can damage or possibly kill the leather. Mine had that but when I adjusted my flow it broke and now my 2 leathers look better then ever. just my .02
Well it seems to have some stuff peeling off of it...I am guessing that is what you are talking about....Will the little brown spots come out if the skin doesn't break?? (Cause they come out a lot)
mine don't unless the skin breaks and starts peeling off. My leathers are in direct flow from my power heads, they are growing like crazy and always have the brown spots out. just move your flow around to find the right amount.
my flow isn't direct but there is good flow around it and they move a litle bit, it did take mina about a week before they really started to open up. other then the skin on top (which it will peel off) it does look good
