Leather Question

i bought a leather coral, a toadstool, that my lfs said is about to split. Well it had its arms out a little at the store, and its been in my tank for a little over 24 hrs, but none of its arms are out.... any ideas as to why??
BTW my parameters are:
24 gallons
pH:8,2
ammonia 0
nitrates less than 10
trites 0
79 degress F
75 watts pc
50 watts 50/50 acetic

i got a leather from my lfs and it took about 2 to 3 days for it to come out to its fullest

Your temp is a bit on the low side i think?I would give it some time.

toadstool will take a few days to open up. they r very hardy so i wouldnt worry about it. just place it w good lighting and medium flow.

Hmm... i bought the tank with one of those heaters that cant be adjusted, and keep it at 79*...... but when the lights are on during the day it goes to 81-82*
Next payday i might have to invest..lol

I have a leather TS as well, and it took a good 3-4 days before it was out at full capacity.

i just bought yesterday and today the leather is at full extention with tenticles out
