Leather toadstool question

I just got my first leather toadstool yesterday. When I first brought it home it was flat on top, but now the top is curved up like a bowl. Is this normal? I am still fairly new to corals so bear with me.
Also, it is on the bottom of my 75 gallon ( 260 watts of PC lighting) should I put it up on the rocks?

Sounds normal. Mine is curved and I swear it gets bigger by the week. Definitely put it a little higher up in the tank. What kind of lighting was it under at the LFS?

What your leather is doing sounds normal. I would probably put it towards the middle of the tank however.
Also, you want it to be in an area of pretty high water flow.

Id say put it higher up in the tank and see how it opens up. Mine is under 300w MH and is about 10-12 inches from the light. I wish i had a camera with a good macro so i could get a shot of the polyps. Mine loves a medium flow. It doesnt fully open if there is too much flow.
