Lemonpeel Angel Nipping at corals

does anyone know if the lemonpeel angel will nip at an open brain or mushrooms? I know he nips, but will he nips at these specific corals?

Well to quote a book I have " notorious for nipping at large polyped stony corals and tridanid clam mantles. May also eat some soft coral polyps and nip at zoos. "

well that's no good..... any good ideas on how to catch him without breaking the tank down?

Not really, I caght a hogfish out of my tank once by cutting a 2 liter soda bottle into befor it gets small at the spout and turnd the spout around and tape w/ clear tape and put in food. Took three hours but it finaly went in. These damn fish are smart.
You may have to cut the spout bigger if you try it and you may catch fish that you dont want to catch if you have other fish. :notsure:

Usually angels that are not totally reef safe will either nip at zoo or brains first. You have a chance that he may not nip, it's a chance but you may want to see how he does. You can try the bottle trap if you want him hout though.

so cut the bottle towards the top, and flip the top and set it back in the bottle with a bit of a bigger opening so they will swim in and get stuck... is that right?

yeh, then put some food in and be ready to cover the opening with something.

I bought one when I first started and the first thing it did was take a big bit of my brain , was a pain getting it out .
