Leopard Grouper

You know those little tiny Leopard Groupers you see in the pet store that are just so cute you JUST have to have one?
I saw a couple last night in the LFS looking at one.. They were buying a new sw setup and the store owner was telling them this was a hearty first time fish. The tank was a 20g long.
Needless to say after he walked away I told them what this fish could be in just a few months..
You think we need more Tang Police out there? HOW about the Grouper Police!

This is mine.. Ive had him for just over a year.
.... And thats a 180g tank hes in.... not 20 *sigh*

lol.. That tank is a aggressive tank.. Its not much to look at as It has coraline all over the glass from a previous reef tank.
BTW.. nothing that is over 11" and eats 3" fish whole is cute... *grin*

AWW, But Their SOOO Cute...
Heres mine 6 weeks ago when he was 1 1/2" long...(and in a 20 )
Now he's 3 1/2" and GROWING...Good thing I'm setting up a 210..

I should point out that when he was 1 1/2" he was in a 20 gal GROW OUT tank...Cause my Lion is 12" in the 125 and would have had him for lunch...
But now he's 3 1/2" in the 125 and holding his own...(He's an Assertive little Bugger)

Heh.. a 20g is a sump
Glad you got him in a tank he can at least turn around in
He looks great btw.. very healthy
