I have purchased a leapord wrasse; he is currently in QT. Was wondering how/if anyone has been successful in getting these guys to eat for the first time. I am currently (first day) trying live brine shrimp, but Im hoping to eventually get him to eat frozen food. Any advice or experience with these fish??

these fish love to bury themselves in the sand or gravel, so you might not see them for days. mine started feeding on mysis shrimp quite fast. then finely chopped clams and ground squid. very peacefull fish!

Thanks for the reply! Will this fish be ok in a bare bottom QT for a few weeks?
He appears to be taking an interest in the frozen food and may actually be eating some of it. So far so good. :joy:

mabey you could try piling some sand in a corner of the QT he would be much happer UNDER SAND than beside rocks, just to minimize his stress level
