you cant really know when to qt your fish
but here are some tips to knowing when you dont have to qt
your fish if these rules dont become or have all of the tips the fish you probably need to qt your fish all things to worry about before buying your fish
1.swimming very activley
2.eating very well
3.no signs of disease
4.in a tank with all other healthy fish
5.do not think that when you buy your fish the workers are are telling you the truth they somtimes lie to make money off the fish..do not trust unless your completely sure that they are positive
5.put the fish on hold for a couple of days and go to the store every day to examine the fish for ich and all other diseases
6.research your fish before buying
7.tank copatibilites

i think im going to order one for next week and not let the store aclimate it to their system and just put it right in my dt
