leopard wrasse

I have been looking in to these fish and came across a few websites that said they eat pods off lr. I was planning on getting a possum wrasse for my 75 after about a year so my pod population would rise undisturbed by picking fish, would both wrasses compete until one dies  I really like both fish and would like to keep both fish but not if they compete and suffer (hate to see fish suffer). So any info is appreciated!
Thank you:)

Your wrasses should eat meaty foods, like brine, chopped krill, chopped mussles, chopped shrimp, marine flake (if they'll eat it).
But they'll eat your pods, too.
BTW, I hear leopard wrasses are tough to care for. Pretty fishes, though. Good luck.

The leopard if it eats will graze on LR and eat meaty foods but primary food source is the pods. The possum from what I have read is much less picky on its food but will go after easy meals of pods too, much like a 6 line wrasse. So yes in a way they will compete and the possum will win.

Well recently, my leopard wrasse disappeared. He didn't like the addition of 2 new fish and got spooked. I haven't seen him since Saturday, but I haven't been home much during the day. May be dead, may be hiding...not sure.
Yes, they eat pods. They spend the day surfing in and out of the rock and sandbed hunting. Mine eats/ate frozen foods as well, but primarily pods.
I hear from everyone they are delicate, but not mine. It is tough as nails. It has been traded several times and has now been in 4 tanks. It lived through every move no problem. I find it easy to care for.
