Well... It's been a month and time for an upgrade!! lol... I upgraded my little Eclipse III lighting. I put a 65W PC with a 50/50 smartlight. Wow what a diference.
Stuff is springing to life.... like the ugly brown algea on the top of my tall rock... YUCK!
Time for a clean-up crew?? Leave the light on for shorter time?? All the above? Suggestions?

If all of your water levels are where they are supposed to
be than get a clean up crew,also maybe another powerhead
would be good,and last what are you using for your water.
RO water is the best.

I bought the Custom Sea Life 24"PC retro-kit for the eclipse hood. The reflector and bulb fits in the stock setup. Did you get 110w in the stock hood? or is it in a different hood?
I've had the tank set up since Dec 26th. I've never used tap water, just distilled for top-offs and pre-mixed from LFS for water changes. My last water change was with week-old pre-mixed water. I wonder if that had an effect. The maxi-jet 900 seems to be really moving the water around, so dunno if thats the prob too
ahhh...the learning curve...
