Let's do a count on Sun coral owners

The other cyclopeeze just floats around the tank, the goby goes after some of it and the rest floats around until settling. I also have a gorgonian that benefits from the feeding. I have a 12 gallon and at first was very concerned about water quality but I haven't had any problems with this feeding method.
To control how much you are feeding you could place a small tuberware bowl over the sun coral and feed under there, that way it doesn't go all over the place and sun coral would eat most of it.

repelprettyboy>>>congratulations and sorry to hear you got one!!
I hate my Sun Coral now. It only opens when the light goes out. And feeding is like in hell.
I don't know how the covered Sun coral with tuberware or softdrink bottle method works because when I take my Sun coral out of the tank and into a plastic container to feed it, I have to use a BBQ bamboo stick to stir the water slowly so Cyclopez can move around so the polyps can catch it.
If you just cover the coral with the tuberware in the tank and put food in there, water will be still, Cyclopez will either settle to the bottom or floating up. NOPE, I don't see how it works, really.......
If anyone knows how, please share.

Here is mine, taken a few months ago but it hasn't changed.
Feeding is simple, I put a little bit of food in the tank, cyclopeeze works well, wait until it opens, cover it and spray the food down over the open polyps. Most of the food settles into the open polyps then rest settles into the sand where there are plenty of critter who clean up after the feeding. The cover is mostly to keep my shrimp and crabs from pulling food out of the polyps.

You can get it frozen or freeze dried (which is powdery).

Sorry I'm late, but I finally got a glimpse of the Sun Coral fully opened. Here are some before and after pics. I think it's happy.

First few months i had it it was in a small tank at my office and my lights came on the time i came to work and went off when i got off work so i never seen it open up.. I have since brought it home and now i get to see it open up every night.

I heard the easiest way to feed them is to put a little cyclopeze in a cup and place it over them. That way it's contained, they eat it only and its not waste floating in your tank. Just a thought. I don't have one myseld, so I've never tried it, but thats what I heard.

Well it looks like it is pretty far gone but it may pull through. Keep offering it cyclopeeze, you may even consider taking it out in a small bucket of tank water and feeding it with the cyclopeeze there to see if it will open up more.
