ps: i have no clue what they are so ...
ps : what are the snail looking things on the rock again?

I have those as well and don't think they are coralline. They look to me like some kind of plant or something.

I don't think so. Foraminiferans have shells and those look like little plants.

getting closer ----doesnt have such a big base .....flatter like a fan .....and not a gorgeous red like that....what are those???

the pic is of formaliferans. and i would have to agree with thomas that that is what you have. they are a member of protista. dont realy do anything good or bad for your tank.

this stuff kinda shrinks and isnt as pronounces at night or away from movement
i just took notice of it after i moved the rocks closer to the water flow....then they opened up per say.

thomas, i have a lot of those white ones, what are they, and i also have some similar to the red ones but they are slightly different in color a little more to the purple side

ok i guess thomas wins the game but........the lightning round brings this:
