off topic, but your beardie how old is he, and can you help me iwth mine he doesnt move all that often and i never see him eat anything but crickets, but he eats the greens he jus tnever does it when im around...

Clownfish- my beardie is about 5 years old. Your Beardie might not be moving because he is in "hibernation mode" mine is recently eating very little and does not move much, but this is only the case in the winter mothes. What size tank to you have him in? Try feeding fozen mixed vegitables, that is what i give mine all the time. Any more question, feel free to ask. I have had ALOT of different reptiles and birds and fish etc.

ya ive had a beardie, turtle, many FW tanks, mud puppies, frogs, etc
even in the summer he doesnt move that much ive had him for almost 2 years now(in may), and ive got him in a 75gal, but im thinking of getting him a smaller tank.
what do you think?

Beardies do enjoy to bask in the "heat" lamp. so you could jusy have a lazy lizard. as long as he is eating you should be fine. When he doesent move much is he basking in his light?

Ya, your beardie is just "hanging" out. It is normal for him to sit or bask. That is their natural behavior in the wild.

ya, thats how mine was. Always climbing and walking around. They get lazy as they get older.

I run an extra 120g hang-on in the refugium to keep it clean with my bi-load. My skimmer is a modded ASM G3 that pulls EVERYTHING. I also have a ton of Chaeto to keep the nitrates at 0. I use filter pads over my sponge prior to the return section for additional filtration.
