Insides look nice, in fact that glass is so clean I almost don't believe it, however there does seem to be a problem. In looking at the photo's you don't seem to have any surface movment. I can see the oily layer of film at the top of the water column. Whats up with that?
You need some powerheads going in there to break up that water surface.

Yeah I do have a powerhead that goes in there, but right now it's in the 75 gallon tank. I also noticed the oily surface so I will put the powerhead back in there. Thanks for pointing that out.

This is why its nice to have an internal or external overflow system, it constantly skims off the surface of the water and takes it down to your sump or wet/dry. Might want to consider that for an upgrade or next tank.

I can't tell what that is hanging off the back, is it a filter or skimmer? If you are getting the oily film on the surface of the water, you need a skimmer.

I am, currently cycling a 75E gallon. About the tank, there is a skimmer and a filter attached to it on the back. Put powerhead back in tank, top of water seems to be doing better now.
