My first one, I got it on the first day of school this year...and I fainted and they had to use 3 smelling salts to wake me up, so I won't be getting another one for a while. But I really want one on my wrist, so eventually I'll be brave again.
Here's my frog, I also have my sign on my hip but it's pretty small and inappropiate to photograph, it was my test one to see if I could take the pain before I got this one.
That is what's weird about the pain. Each spot is different. Like the one on my back it felt like they were carving it in and then the tribal was fine until they got close to my collar bone. The most painful one I have was on my shin/calf.
The 2 of mine that can be shown! I got the spider as a kind of therapy- I'm terrified of spiders & I rationalized that if I saw one all the time I would desensitize myself- it hasn't worked. I don't know how many times I've stamped on my own foot!
I got the barcode in anticipation of the gov't tagging I'm sure will happen eventually. I can say to the men in black, "thanks, but I'm already tagged!" I don't want to be tracked any more than I already am!

Careful, tattoos can be as expensive and addicting as aquariums...
