Oreo, what all do you keep with your Niger? I want to do a semi aggressive reef, but I am afraid my niger will eat all in site like shrimps and crabs. I can't put snails in mine even.

I'm changin my FOLWR to a reef....looks like I may need a 180gal tank for trigs and eels. There the fish which dominate saltwater (except sharks) but are aggresive. Awesome triggers, BTW no hijack intended but I've read the pink tail is the least aggresive, true or not?

he's just a little guy about 3 inches and still in transition from juvi. to adult. As he matures he will get a bright blue belly and the half moon marking will turn yellow.

Caleb,
It looks like it is in the same family as the Pinktail and Black Durgeon, the Melichthys. It sure is a nice looking fish :joy: What all do you have in with it? Is it a docile fish?...............Peace

The Halfmoon trigger/Flagtail trigger or Sufflamen chrysopterus accualy is in the same family as the Bursa trigger, and is very similar to the bluethroat trigger but in a different family. It is very peacful so far submiting even to my green chromis. they are not supposed to be as aggressive as other triggers. I would recomend them.
