beautiful stuff, keep em coming....
oceana i also use io salt and find my cal levels stay at like 430-450
with 5 gallon weekly water changes and i have 175 w halides and the clams seem to be good too. these pics are inspiring, the more I see the more sps I want to get.
golfish- that tank is nuts! you must definately have a cal reactor on that thing. I am going to look into one as I get more sps.

That tank was nuts...I had to break it down in early 03 when we moved. I haven't been able to get things back up to par on my new system.
Yes, Ca reactor, Kalk reactor, auto top off, 3x400 watt MH's, ER skimmer...all the bells and whistles.

If your comment was directed at me I appreciate that very much. That tank did very well for myself and all the local reefers around me, not to mention the few reefers in other states that I sent frags out to.
My current system isn't doing as well. I'm pretty much convinced that I have something in my rock that's contaminating the tank. I'm a few months away from starting all over again from scratch. I have all the bells and whistles as far as equipment goes so it wont cost me very much to buy new rock.
Its a great hobby but sometimes, no matter how hard you try things just don't work out.
