This argument is used by pro marijuna use constituants to imply a government/tobacco company link. That is nothing but propoganda from what I read.
Marijuana users always bring up that and that it was grown in the form of Hemp throughout the 1800's as s ource for goods. What they fail to realize is, while it was grown, it was never smoked until introduced by immigrants in the early 1900's. It was banned to help curb immigration in hopes of maintaining a job market for "white" america. Purely racial in it's intial banning. Which was wrong in my opinion.

ok, back on track, another thing that bothers me: why isn't funner a word??? that is so dumb... i think when they were perfecting the english language, they decided that there should be a few curve balls, so they can confuse children or foreigns with stupid rules like that... "hmmm, what can we do... ok, long words such as incompetant will use 'more in front of it', and shorter words, such as pretty will add 'er' to the end... but fun will be 'more fun' instead of 'funner'" wtf is that about??? Actually the english language is horrible... so many stupid rules. i think they were trying to make it as complicated as possible... jerks!!!

I beleive most "hemp" comes from the Ruderallis (spelling) which is the fastest growing but has a very low THC content In fact most of these don't produce enough to get you high. Growers and breeders are working to cross this with the Indica's and Sativa's to get a faster growing plant that does have a higher THC content.It is a shame that all hemp is outlawed as it does have a wide variety of uses.

You are right. And it should be more readily available. There is a market and it is vitually impossible to become high off it.

did you know there are marijuana-flavored loli-pops??? that's the dumbest thing i've ever heard. They're trying to make them illegal because they believe there's thc in them, but they haven't proved it yet...

Get back on track Jd! hee hee. Sorry I was still typing as you posted, two fingers only go so fast you know. :joy: I beleive they want to keep kids from thinking it's cool. I support legalizing pot but no way should children be subjected to ANY recreational drugs.

i hate when people can't understand why i can't answer the question "what are interest rates these days?"... that's like asking a realtor "how much is a house"... uhhh, ok what kind of house, in what area, what size, how much land, etc... just like that, we need to know everything about you before we can even begin to quote rates... i mean, it's ok if they just ask at first, but it's those people that get mad at you even after you explain why you can't just blindly quote a rate...
aaaand, when people think they know your industry more than you do... i was looking at jewelry the other day, and the guy was being a real ----... somehow we got into a conversation about the

industry, and i explained to him that it's all about the cash-flow. He then told me i was wrong, and that it's about a lower interest rate.. i then agreed that a lower interest rate = a lower payment (unless it's a cash-out loan), and that's what it's all about... the lowest payment. Then he told me i was wrong and that a lower interest rate means you're paying less interest and more toward the principal and therefore, you'd payoff your loan faster... i was like you're an idiot... first of all, don't argue with me about MY industry... second of all, the interest rate determines the payment... the TERM OF THE LOAN DETERMINES HOW LONG IT TAKES TO REPAY IT. so if it's a 30 year loan, it's going to take 30 years to pay back, regardless of the interest rate... So i yelled at him, told him he was being a dickwad, talked to the manager about how incredibly rude he was being, and made it known that i would never shop at that store again because i was so insulted by his insolence...
