Dragon, you know that's a spoof coloring book, right? Going "ROUGE", as in French for "RED". But that brings up an interesting point. Sarah P is the first politician I would like to see in a bikini or other skimpy attire. Does that make me a sexist?

I've watched fox from the beginning and I can't even think of a time when Liddy was even a guest on fox, let alone a guest commentator or correspondent so I went and looked. I could find a mention of him being interviews on John Gibson's show in 05 and this from O'reilly's show in 04

Conservative commentators usually attack liberals, not their own. So when radio host G. Gordon Liddy, of Watergate fame, recently duked it out with Fox News talkmeister Bill O’Reilly, it was a treat.
The first volley was fired on MSNBC’s Deborah Norville Tonight. Liddy called O’Reilly “an embarrassment to our side.”
The next day, on CNN’s Crossfire, Liddy shot another round: “O’Reilly is no good at radio, and part of that reason is because his most nuanced response to a complex question is ‘shut up’!” O’Reilly is nonplussed. “Liddy is totally out of control,” says cable’s top-rated news host. Both men’s radio shows are distributed by Westwood One Radio Network so, O’Reilly says, Liddy should know “it’s a blatant lie to say my radio show is a failure, even if he is a senile old coot.” (A source close to O'Reilly's The Radio Factor says it’s netting “north of $10 million” a year.) Liddy was booked to appear on O’Reilly’s show, but Liddy says producers reneged on the invitation unless he apologized. “Tell Bill to pound sand,” he replied, “I’m not apologizing for anything.” Says Liddy, “One of the things I learned when I was a little boy in school and the same thing holds in prison, if you confront the bully he’ll back down.” But G. Gordon shouldn’t hold his breath for that to happen with the Fox News star. O’Reilly says Westwood One sent a statement to both Crossfire host Paul Begala and Norville that The Radio Factor is a strong performer and that Liddy’s comments “are totally inaccurate and in no way represent the views of Westwood One.” It also noted O’Reilly is heard on 405 affiliates. O’Reilly doesn’t believe that statement will be read. “Begala won’t do it because he doesn’t care, and Norville won’t because she doesn’t have a clue,” he says. “You could go on [Norville’s] show...and say ‘The Martians have just landed’ and Norville would say, ‘Oh really, tell me more.’”
O'Reilly planned an on-air volley on the Talking Points segment of his TV show Friday night, saying Liddy had joined the "character assassins" who attack Fox news, calling Begala a "propagandist" and saying Norville "seems to have little frame of reference."

The point to me isn't so much where someone came from as it is what they do once they're there. I.e. are they working for the American people, or their former industry? The two don't have to be mutually exclusive, but they frequently are.
Ask yourself this: If the R's and D's are so diametrically opposed, then how is it that James Carville and Mary Matalin, each major power brokers in their respective parties, can stand to be married?
No press secretary works for we the people, that is not their job. They are selected and appointed by a particular president to sell their agenda. You don't really think Snow was trying to build up the media, 95% or so of which was anti Bush do you? He job is to make the president look good and push his agenda to the press.

Not exactly what I expected to read my first day on a fish forum, lol.
Anyway, I don't want to get into politics here. I'll just say that I giggle at FOX news. I giggle because they make asses of themselves constantly.
* Sarah Palin, promoting her book sales (wait . . . are those McCain/Palin posters in your new footage?):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luNheD4DGr8
* Bill O'Reily, "I don't care about the constitution!" (Um . . . Bill. That's FOX's analyst.):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2AcXy1wFY0
* Hannity. Excuse me . . . Hannity? When Jon Stewart calls you out, it's not good news reporting.

Well, from the stupidity spouted by the left about her, I no longer give the benefit of the doubt.

Stewart has called out many news agencies and opinion commentators on various networks.....Even the President current and Former...not to mention senators...the guy is a comedian....that is his whole schtick, if you get your political news and info from a comedian I truly feel for the future of this great nation.

I watch him regularly ( although he isn't the only thing that forms my views), and yes, he is funny, but it's not like he is doing stand up. He is as much of an entertainer as Beck or Hannity

How very Obama of you means "do as I say not as I do.".
Letme breakdown for you this way. You asked us to defend the way the news is covered on Fox (not Limbaugh and O'reilly as you are now saying". Yet the other stations are using the same tactics just the other side of the aisle and you haven't defended those tactics. So your entire pretense goes back to, "do as I say, not as I do"...basically you are condoning the behavior of MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and CNN and just criticizing Fox for the same methods.
Your motive is clear....denounce a conservative based station without denouncing those stations that support your view. So until you explain the actions for the one sided talking points of those networks, I will refrain from defending the actions of fox. I will say this, Atleast Fox on their debate/opinion shows (which is what O'reilly is, he is NOT news) They are usually pretty good at debating both sides...unlike the other shows.
Do you consider Bill Maher news? If no, he is in the same category as Hannity, O'Reilly, Rush, Savage, and so on.......they are opinion/entertainment/discussion shows. They are no more the news than The View is.... If you answer yes, then that is your problem....the media over the last decade has change the public perception of what classifies for news VS. Opinion.......
I don't find Hussein offensive...those that do are ignorant, if you view the use of his middle name as offensive that is your problem. Even those who support Obama use his middle name when discussing or praising him....I seem to remember a song written by a teacher about Obama that included the following line repeatedly....
"Barrack Hussein Obama...mmmm...mmmmm.mmmm"
He also used his own middle name when he took his oath of Office, not all of the Presidents do this....
Come on Darth. Even the village idiot knows why the 'right' emphasizes Obama's middle name when referencing him in any context. Maybe because his middle name is the same as a certain deposed Iraq leader who was hung during the Bush regime?

What supporters of Obama constantly use his full name when referencing him in any context? If I ever mention him, I just state 'Obama'. Of course the righties like to use the little NObama gig whenever they can. But that one kinda matches the Dubya reference for your buddy George.

What was that teachers motive for having the kids singing Barack Hussein Obama in that worship song she had them singing?

Maybe without using his middle name, it would have caused an unneeded pause in the song and the flow of the music wouldn't sound right?

But only white conservative nutbags use his middle name.....I will agree in the beginning I am sure the nutbags used his middle name to try to shed a bad light on him. But soon after the news media and his supporters used (and still use) it just as much....
President Barrack Obama.....would have fit just fine in the song....try it yourself.
