Anglers can be difficult sometimes, as many are lost due to a little-understood "disease" known as SAD (Sudden Angler Death), where a seemingly fine fish begins darting around the tank, bloats, floats, and dies within short order. Sometimes for whatever reason, fish from the same supplier all have issues, sometimes not.
Did all of your fish come from the same place?
How long did you have them before they presented?
I've never known anglers to be prone to ****** personally, are you sure it was ******?

i used to think anglers were the best fish ever but they are very problematic and can die within hours for no apparent reason i had three at one point i had a sargassum striated and a wart skinand they all croaked the striated swallowed a rock and it got lodged in his throat and killed him the sargassum was attacked and killed by a serpent starfish and the wartskin got bloated and floated to the top and went belly up and died if i was you i wouldnt even mess with them after all of mine died i left them alone because they are hard to keep for a long period of time... the longest i kept mine was 8 months... but good luck if you get anothe one the easiest to keep is the striated...!

Good news! ! Got another froggy...#5... he's a sweet lil wartskin!! Love em and the best part is he's over a month old now..... keeping my fingers crossed haha

I loved mine! I would hand feed him a silver side every other day. I had him for about 2 months, and he would let me pet him and he would swim to my hand when I put it in the tank. I got rid of him because I wanted more fish. I still regret getting rid of him. Enjoy yours!
