After X-mas I am think I'am gonna order some things from this site, these are two I like but I'am not sure of. Do either of these inverts require any special care? Will either "nuke" my tank? What does this cuke eat?
Thanks in advace!! :joy:

as far as i know any cuke can nuke your tank. I love the way that sounds. anyways back on topic, the lettuce nudi is a great addition if you have plenty of algae for it and you can keep it out of your power heads and intakes. They almost always seem to get into them anyways, at which point its like running a grape through a strainer. I would see if your system can be made safe for them, and wait for someone else to post, but that is my unprofessional opinion, since i have not kept either species.

I have a pink sea cucumber..... He dosent seem to eat anything special. I have had him for about 5 months or so .... I feed my tank flake food and frozen brine. He seems to eat alge and junk from the sand. It is kinda gross it is like he eats the sand and his body filters it out, then he poops out the sand and you can always tell where he has been because of the poop shaped sand trail (gross I know) but he is kinda cool and always in a new place. Be careful though, mine did get stuck to the powerhead intake once. I put sponge filter stuff on all my intakes to help prevent this.

The only documented algea Lettuce Nudi's eat is Bryopsis, with out it they will starve. I have read they will also eat Cheatomorpha, But I have no proof of it.

I have a pink filter feeding cuke (for about a year now) and a sand sifting cuke in my 75. I believe you need a decent size tank to keep a sand sifter alive.
As far as I know, my lettuce nudi dosen't eat chaeto, at least I've never seen him on it.

Thanks everyone. I'm starting to lean away from the nudi because i don't have a lot of algea in my tank and I don't want him to turn himself to mush in one of my powerheads. I think a cuke is a better option assuming the pink and black ones have the same requirements as the pink one Starkissed has.

Wait a second, if cukes sift the sand I ight not beabl to get one after all, I have crushed coral. If I can't get a normal cuke would i be able to get one of the pink filter feeding ones?

Most cukes sift sand, but they also eat from the rocks, so as long as you have a good amount of liverock it should be fine, it might also clean off the CC a little
